Dr Mokhtar Khorchef is a psychiatrist, qualified in general medicine since 2003 and registered with the Medical Board in France since 2011, with a qualification in psychiatry and psychotherapy. He has accumulated more than 20 years of clinical experience in various contexts: hospitalization, emergency psychiatry, autism, forensic psychiatry, psychosocial rehabilitation and telehealth. He has worked in numerous French hospitals, notably in Lyon, Roanne, Bourg-en-Bresse, Saint-Lizier and Brive-la-Gaillarde. He has also been a coordinating psychiatrist for specialized units supporting adults with autism spectrum disorder and intellectual disability. His career is enriched by several university diplomas, notably in CBT (Cognitive-Behavioural Therapies), Old Age Psychiatry, General Psychiatry, and Autism and Associated Disorders. He regularly participates in continuing medical education programmes and international humanitarian missions. Dr Khorchef favours an integrative, empathetic and tailored approach to each patient, respecting the pace and specific needs of each individual.
